“Torat Chaim” Midrasha – Programs for Women

Building a Spiritual Foundation for Real Life

Over the past decade, an increasing number of women have sought to integrate, forge ahead, and excel in all areas of society, pursuing relevant academic education tailored to their unique talents. At Midreshet Torat Chaim, we believe that a complete Torah life encompasses deep spiritual growth alongside academic study and active engagement in all professional fields.

The Shiluvim Track for Women

Located in the community of Har Bracha, the Midrasha offers an integration track (Shiluvim) designed for single and married women, Ulpana graduates, and students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and advanced degrees at Ariel University. (For younger women, the Midrasha also coordinates National Service placements, providing a variety of excellent volunteer positions within the community).

The program ensures that advancement in the academic world does not come at the expense of a student’s spiritual world. To date, dozens of graduates have successfully entered fields such as Computer Science, Nursing, Economics, Biology, Chemical Engineering, and Human Resources.

Curriculum and Schedule

The Midrasha features a comprehensive evening curriculum covering a wide range of Torah topics, including Halakha, Emunah, and the weekly Torah portion. This provides students with an essential toolkit for practical halakhic knowledge, spiritual growth, and preparation for life’s journey – whether that means building a family, navigating the challenges of academia, or successfully integrating into the workforce.

Classes are held in Har Bracha in the evenings, and students are required to participate in at least eight sessions per month.

Teaching Staff: The dedicated teaching staff includes Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbanit Inbal Melamed, Rabbi Gur Galon, Rabbi Yizhar Ashur, Rabbi Maor Kayam, and others.

Scholarships and Academic Benefits

In collaboration with Ariel University, participating students are exempt from taking the university’s mandatory Jewish Heritage courses.

Additionally, Master’s and PhD students who choose to take a monthly exam based on the Peninei Halakha book series are eligible for a special monthly scholarship of up to 1,200 NIS.
