Tish’a B’Av

This year as well, on the ninth of Av, Jews around the world will fast over the absence of the Holy Temple for 1,949 years.
It seems that as every year that passes, our tears are as of new, and our cries intensify.
“For Mount Zion which lies desolate; jackals prowl over it” (from the Book of Lamentations)
